TROPICAL TREE-RING NETWORK

Interested in joining our network?

Do you have a tree-ring width chronology obtained from a natural population at a site between 30º S and 30º N? Are you interested in contributing the raw ring-width series to the network? We very much welcome new datasets, in particular from the least sampled regions (Africa) and biomes (moist forests). Data contributors will be co-authors on manuscripts that include their data. As a contributor you can also initiate new studies making use of the available chronologies in the network.

Network regulations & data policy

We have developed regulations and a data policy for the network, see here. This document explains the aims of the network and the roles of the core team, the network team and all contributors to the network. We also explain the type of data we assemble, why we make raw ring-width data publicly available in an international data repository and how we do so. We also provide instructions on and forms for uploading data to incoming contributions.
